Starry Nights Hunt

Woops! I guess it’s been awhile since I posted any updates, here. But I wanted to let everyone know that Wine and Roses is participating in the Starry Nights hunt. The hunt lasts from June 17-July 17th, with a lot of great stores participating. My hunt gift is a trio of vases made from my Dandelion series of artworks.

Also, just as a reminder: I have set it up inside of the amazing holodeck system by Reich & Rexen Holodeck. (I wrote about them in the June 2009 issue of Prim Perfect, and blogged about it here.) The breathtaking panoramic views feature ocean, nature and urban scenes that are set on a 5 minute slideshow. I am very proud to use one of their holodeck systems as a home for my store, and I invite anyone who would like to visit, to enjoy the scenery – you are more than welcome to use it as a backdrop for your photography! It may look like you are floating in space, but I assure you- the platform is transparent but quite solid. I set the auto return for 10 minutes, so feel free to rez any props, poseballs etc for your blog shots if you would like to use the holodeck as a backdrop. Again, I have this set as a 5 minute slideshow, and there are literally thousands of scenes- so enjoy!

New Logo

Since I moved Wine And Roses to the new location, I’ve been working on making some changes, one of which is needing a new logo. I decided it was time for me to invest in some advertising- so as of May 1st, I am proud to say that I will be a sponsor of VWE – Virtual Wrestling Entertainment. (Formerly XWA).

This seemed like a good time to have a new logo done- my original one is pretty outdated. Seth Cameron (owner of VWE) offered to do the logo for me- and I was really excited because he does some amazing work. Here is the result. I can’t say enough how happy and excited I am about it! It looks amazing!

Cool New Location!

Hi everyone!

The Home And Garden Expo was a huge success- over 1 million Lindens were raised by the Relay For Life All-Star team as well as all of the participating stores. It was a lot of fun to do, and I hope to be there again next year!

A bit of an update, now. I am in the process of moving the Wine And Roses mainstore location over to Corona Cay. Once I get all of the traffic re-routed to the new store, I’ll be closing up shop on the Mudhoney sim. Rayvn Hynes has been wonderful, and I have been glad to be a part of her sim. 🙂

The new store is now open, and filled with three whole floors worth of artwork, rugs, vases, candles and more for your home. Please update your landmarks! Here is the new slurl: New Location

Wine And Roses at Home Expo

The 3rd annual Home and Garden Expo is officially underway, and I am very proud to say that Wine And Roses is a part of it. I have a build set up where I’m selling art, vases, home accents and some furniture. Most of my items are very low prim and perfect for Linden Homes! And very affordable, as well. Most everything ranges between only 25L-100L. I also have two Relay For Life kiosks on the 2nd floor where I am selling limited edition items- all proceeds from the kiosk sales go directly to Relay For Life.

New Product- Wall Decals

This one prim decal can be rezzed against a wall, floor or flat surface to add a beautiful and unique accent to any room.  There are 5 different decals included in this single prim- simply click the decal to change to the next image. This item is copy, so you can use this in as many rooms or places as you would like! This is a wonderful, low prim option to spruce up your home- especially great for Linden Homes. You may also stretch and resize it to suit your needs.

**Note- the decal images are only visible on one side of the prim, the other is completely transparent. If you cannot see the decal when you rez it, try turning it around. Press Control-Alt-T on your keyboard to highlight transparent images, and then those three keys again to revert back to normal.**

Spring Cleaning Hunt

I am pleased to share that Wine And Roses is participating in two grid wide hunts for the month of March!

The first is the Spring Cleaning Hunt, which lasts from March 1-15th. I am #17 in the hunt chain.

Wine And Roses Grand Re-Opening!

I am thrilled to announce that Wine And Roses mainstore has moved! Rayvn Hynes of Mudhoney Designs recently purchased the Sugar Mill Grove sim, which is now home to many wonderful stores, and I am so happy to be a part of it.

I have spent the past few weeks busily working on some brand new releases, and my very first furniture set is now available.

Blue Green Living Room Set and Stone Water Wall

This modern living room set consists of a sectional couch, area rug, glass tile coffee table and etched glass room divider. The couch contains 5 poses, one in each of the accent pillows. You can buy each piece of the living room set individually, or purchase the whole set and save $50L.

The decorative water wall is made of white-blue marble tile, and makes a perfect backdrop to the living room set.

Art Deco Curio

This round curio shelf adds a stylish touch to your home. The shelves are deep enough to display small items such as the candles shown here.
